join us on saturday june 22nd for an evening of premium western australian wine an overload of delicious food, the biggest cheese table you have ever seen and a highlight of flambe calvados camembert.

this stand up style event will take over the entire top floor of bathers beach house so guests can move around between the multiple food and wine stations setup and also spend some time by our fire pits on the balcony.

this event will feature eight different wines to taste plus a food & cheese selection to match each wine.  in addition, all guests will receive a token to enjoy an additional glass of their favourite wine.

our bar will also be open all night should you want to purchase any additional drinks like a beer, spirit or cocktail.

about our partners


this event will feature premium products from our partners, vasse felix wines, ferngrove wines and blue cow cheese company.

vasse felix and ferngrove will each have a representative onsite, talking about thier products and the matches with the food courses.  we will also have a blue cow cheese master onsite serving a selection of blue cow cheeses to match the individual wine courses.

our 'all night' cheese table

thanks to blue cow cheese company, we will have a huge cheese table featuring a range of their cheese selections together with their crispbreads & accompaniments.  there will be a cheese for every pallet with a selection including fresh soft cheeses, surface ripened cheese, washed rind cheese, hard cheeses and blue cheese.

as a special highlight, the blue cow cheese master will be on hand for the evening, suggesting cheese matches for each of the wine selections you will be drinking throughout the night.

 

first up

on arrival you will be greeted with a sparkling wine and our oyster station.

enjoy some freshly shucked oysters with either lemon or lime wedges, shallot and aged red wine vinegar, or champagne, vinegar and green apple.

we move on to four amuse bouche courses, each matched with a wine selection:

  • snapper and basil arancini served with preserved lemon mayonnaise
  • prawn shot glass served with, avocado guacamole, roasted garlic and coriander capsicum puree
  • potted Lamb meat tower served with roasted honey pumpkin and Persian garlic fetta mousse 
  • deep fried panko crumbed camembert served with pear and balsamic chutney

then we'll dim the lights as our chefs bring out the pans and prepare the flambe calvados camembert in the middle of the event.

this classic french dish will see the apple brandy poured over camembert and set alight to melt the cheese, before guests can dig in with delicious baguette and other delights.

finally

we move on to our final three significant amuse bouche, including:

  • pulled brisquet charcoal slider served with red wine jus and pomme pont neuf and micro herbs 
  • 16 hour braised beef cheek verrine serve with parsnip puree and herbs pangrattato
  • caramelized red apple and bleu cheese bruschetta

during the evening we will be enjoying eight wines from Vasse Felix and Ferngrove, which will include some of their very well known and awarded varieties.  The wine list for the evening will be:
